Our Story
Let's start with - cancer sucks!
On Father’s Day 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, our world was turned upside down. We received news that no family ever wants to hear: cancer had struck ours.

Igor’s father, Niko, was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. It was aggressive and had already spread to his liver. We were devastated. Cancer was something that happened to other people: until it didn’t.
​
That moment changed everything. Suddenly cancer wasn’t just a word, it was our reality. Igor threw himself into research, uncovering the critical role that diet and lifestyle can play in prevention and recovery.
​
Thankfully, Niko (the silver fox on the left!) responded to treatment. After chemotherapy and several surgeries, he is now a survivor; and we are deeply grateful.
​
But we know not everyone gets that outcome. That’s why each year, for the month of October, we donate all our registration checks toward The SAN Hospital's Integrated Cancer Centre. Here we can make a difference in the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
